Returning Your Shoes? Here are Some Tips to Remember

Sometimes things don’t work out the way we want them to and the Yami dance shoes that you’ve ordered recently are not an exemption. Some things are just not meant to be.

Fortunately, we made returns easy breezy for our customers. You have up to 30 days from your ship date to try on your shoes.

Our 30-day Return Policy is guaranteed easy and fuss-free! As long as the shoes are in brand new, unworn condition and it’s within the 30-day return period, you can send the shoes back to us for a store credit and exchange.

Here is our Return Process

Step 1: Send the shoes back to us
Step 2: Once received, our team will conduct an inspection of the returned item. The inspection process takes at least a week. 

Step 3: After passing the inspection process, we will refund the dollar value of the shoes in a form of store credit or an exchange if your preferred replacement pair is available.

As per our Return Policy, shoes that pass our inspection are eligible for store credit or exchange.

Why store credit?

Store credit makes it easier for our customers to order a replacement pair for returned items. The process is designed to make the entire experience seamless on our website. Store credit is offered to all returned items, no exemptions.

What’s not covered by our 30-day Return Policy?

Our 30-day no questions asked Return policy covers the following:

  • Brand new, unused Yami dance shoes
  • Defective shoes prior to use
  • Wrong size

Our 30-day no questions asked Return policy does not cover the following:

Shoes with obvious signs of wear are not eligible for store credit or refund. 

  • Discoloration
  • Scratched outsoles
  • Insoles with foot imprints
  • dirty insoles and outsoles
  • Scratched up uppers and outsoles

Only unworn dance shoes are accepted for a refund or exchange. 

If the shoes have been unused but are over the 30-day Return period, they cannot be returned. 

Shoes that were recently bought but damaged due to wear will not be accepted. 

Please provide videos or pictures of item prior to being returned.

We will notify you via email once the inspection process has been completed. The store credit will be refunded to your personal account immediately but may take a couple of days to reflect. For any questions, please shoot us an email at: info@yamishoes.com.
