While custom order and preorder sounds like the same thing, they’re actually very different. If you’ve been eyeing a certain Yami dance shoe style and you’d like to add it to your collection or you have a certain style that you’d like to customize to fit your aesthetics, this guide is for you.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through the difference between custom orders and preorders to help you choose the right service for you!
Custom Order and Preorder: What’s the Difference?
Have a specific heel design or shoe color in mind but it’s not available in our regular collection? If you want a certain shoe style to fit your specific needs, why not have a pair customized especially for you?
A custom order refers to shoes with personalized heel style, heel height, colorway and/or embellishments to suit your specific needs. Essentially, custom shoes are designed by you, for you!
Because the shoes feature personalized details, custom orders are not a part of our regular line. Custom shoes are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-returnable because the design was made just for you.
Sending a Custom Order Request
Sending a custom order request is easy, just choose the right custom options during checkout and we will take care of the rest.
Step 1: Choose the heel size, heel style, material, or colorway that you want.
Step 2: There is a field where you can leave us a note in case you want to add more customization options that are not on our list. Be descriptive, add all the important details you want for the shoes.
Step 3: Send in your custom order request and wait for the confirmation email. If certain details of the custom order have to be discussed, we will be in touch with you ASAP.
Is the shoe style you’ve been eyeing since forever got sold out in your size? Our regular shoes sold out all the time, we can totally understand. Why not reserve a pair to ensure you’ll get the shoes you love once we replenish our stocks?
If the shoes from our regular collection are not available in your size or have sold out, you can preorder them. By preordering the shoes, we will reserve your desired style in your size once fresh stocks arrive.
Because preordered shoes are a part of our main line, no details were personalized. This also means the shoes are refundable, returnable, and exchangeable.
Sending a Preorder Request
How to know if the shoes are available for preorder? We’ve made it easy:
If the box under the heel size option is BLUE, it means the shoe style is out of stock but you can reserve a pair! Simply hit the “Preorder Me” button, check out, and we will process your request. You will be notified via email.
Regardless if you’ve requested for a custom order or a preorder, you will receive an email notification that outlines the tracking number to check your order. Here are some important things to remember:
Custom order and preorder takes 5 weeks to ship. There are cases when the shipping is delayed due to COVID-19 but don’t worry, we are working hard to deliver your order on time.
